US Congress Considering a Bill that would Undermine FIFRA and the EPA

H.R.7940, a bill introduced in the U.S. Congress on August 04 is now being considered by the Committee for Agriculture. This bill seeks to bypass the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the EPA by banning specific products. The bill’s short title is Protect America’s Children from Toxic Pesticides Act. The longer title of the bill is To amend the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act to fully protect the safety of children and the environment, to remove dangerous pesticides from use, and for other purposes.
