We recently received a price to add an on-line pesticide recertification component to our website. Yes! Several of you have been requesting that feature.
Here are some summary points:
1) the online system will be on-demand, meaning persons can logon at 2AM (if they insanely wish to do so) and watch the required videos and send in the subsequent quiz.
2) persons seeking on-line recertification will need to watch about six hours of videos
3) VDACS has given me broad guidelines for the on-line system
Cost to us
We will need to spend about $5,000 to get the web site set up for the on-line system. We need that financial support before we can move forward developing the online pesticide recertification system
