A member of Virginia’s House of Delegates introduced a bill that seeks to: (1) require applicators of any neonicotinoid pesticide to provide advance written notice to ALL residents within one-half mile of the application and (2) allow cities, counties, and towns to regulate pesticides. Both provisions of the bill are anti-industry.
