We are offering a new membership category. The need arose when companies approached us and asked for ways to support our government relations activities. Most of those activities are educating key decision makers about the value of our industry. The new category is titled Diamond Membership/Friend of the Industry.

Pieces of legislation introduced in the recent General Assembly sent a very loud message: Decision makers do not understand the hard work done by our industry for the environment and for the economy. We are reforming the legislative committee and will be working overtime to fight for you. But we need your help. Please join at the Diamond/Friend level. Your investment is as little as $3,000. Persons who are able may pay more. Monies from this membership will go into the membership account and used for government relations and for supporting our efforts.

Member rate for pesticide recertification training at Come to the Bay and other VTC events that feature recertification classes

FREE on-line and on-demand pesticide recertification classes (3A,3B, 60 in those categories)

FREE on-line and on-demand certified fertilizer applicator recertification classes

Member rate for entry to the research tour of turfgrass studies in June at the Hampton Roads AREC.

Combined, the value of the above three items is at least $145. Membership dues are $100.

VTC members also receive discounts to every one of our activities and they receive valuable assistance on state and local legislative and bureaucratic issues. Do you know that every member of Virginia’s General Assembly receives our bi-monthly Journal? Several Delegates and Senators have said how much they appreciate being on our mailing list.

Group Membership: Diamond/Friend of the Industry ($3,000)
– Benefits of Platinum Members PLUS Recognition at our Government Relations activities. Many companies choose to pay more than $3,000 ($5,000 is a usual amount). Contact us if you wish to pay more than $3,000.

Group Membership: Platinum ($1,725): 11 to 20 members
– FREE on-site pesticide recertification class (one per year)
– FREE on-line and on-demand certified fertilizer applicator recertification classes (up to 40 of your employees may take the class in one year)

Group Membership: Gold ($950): 6-10 Members
Group Membership: Silver ($475): 1 – 5 Members

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP – ONE YEAR ($100)

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP – TWO YEARS ($180)
