The impact of local members interacting with their elected officials cannot be understated and should serve as a perfect example of how each of us should be known to our own elected officials long before adverse legislation is introduced.
The VTC’s Government Relations Committee headed by Bruce Sheppard and the VTC’s Development Committee headed by Ray Funkhouser are making plans to ensure our local and state leaders know about the great work being done by turfgrass and landscape professionals. We already have great friends – on both sides of the political aisle – in the General Assembly.
