MD H 934 Gasoline Powered Leaf Blowers has been officially pulled by the bill sponsor this week. The bill would’ve banned the sale of gas-powered leaf blowers in 2024 and prohibit their use in 2025. The bill was heard last week and NALP along with several members and allies testified against the bill. NALP met with the bill sponsor this week and agreed to meet this summer to discuss a rebate program to support a responsible transition rather than creating an arbitrary date.
